Please note that the e-Natis (National Traffic Information) System at our Traffic Departments in Hermanus and Kleinmond is offline.

This is due to cable theft in the Grabouw area and the substation in Botriver that blew up.

No transactions can therefore be performed at the Traffic Departments; no licenses can be issued or renewed and the Vehicle Testing Station (VTS) as well as the Driving Licence Testing Centres (DLTCs) are also affected.

The traffic office in Gansbaai is open for motor vehicle registration and licence purposes.

We are in contact with the National Department and will alert residents once the system is back online.
