Overstrand Municipality's Electrical Services are currently busy replacing overhead electricity lines with underground cables between Mollergren Park and Kwaaiwater switch station in Hermanus.
As part of the upgrading of electrical infrastructure, new streetlights will also be installed.
The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of September 2018.
Residents may experience temporary disruptions during the construction while pavements get dug up to install these cables underground.
